in connection to Campus America (24-7prayer USA),
and together with downtown churches and campus ministries,
invites you to join in strategic prayer for Portland State University.

Studies of revival history have shown us that young people are often the ones who rise up in prayer at the beginning of a strong outpouring of God. It is their passionate cries for feedom of the captives, the breaking of bondages, and a hope for true transformation that brings the hand of God. It is His presence they seek, Him they want to know and His power they desire to experience. And this is exactly what they find as they draw together and agree with His heart.

Please join us in praying for the young people in our city, particularily those attending Portland State University. PSU is the largest university in the Portland Metro area, and includes many international students who take back what they learn to the nations they live in. Located at the south end of the Park Blocks, PSU is at the very core of our city.

For this time of prayer we will meet corporately once a week (see schedule below) and encourage you to be praying for PSU in your own personal time, in bible studies and other prayer groups throughout the rest of the week. Take a friend and walk the campus, get a feel for the students who attend, the professors who teach and for this area of the city and ask the Lord to reveal His heart to you.

A 21 day prayer calendar will be published and available at our first meeting, December 1st, to help focus your prayers. Corporate prayer times will include worship led by area teams, prayerwalking and strategic, focused prayer in small and large groups.

Prayer Schedule:

all prayer meetings will take place at the Koinonia House on campus,
located at 633 SW Montgomery (the corner of SW Broadway)
