SUMMER PRAYER IN PORTLAND

Here are our summer prayer times and locations! Please join us for all or part of the summer as we focus on God's heart for our city.

1. Worship and Prayer Blended together, praying the things we know!

every week on Monday nights from 7-9pm
at the Koinonia House on the PSU campus
(corner of SW Broadway and SW Montgomery)
*these meetings will be in the "harp and bowl" format when we have a worship leader available, and will be facilitated corporate prayer when we do not. If you are a musician/singer scheduled to play/sing, please arrive at 6:30!

* each Monday will have a scripture focus, going back to the things we know to pray over Portland and the region. Meditate on these scriptures through the week leading up to our Monday prayer times.

2. prayer/worship/art on the streets

Thursday, July 31st 7-10pm
meet at PNCA (Pacific NW College of Arts)
1241 NW Johnson St., Portland, OR 97209
inside there is a room sized map of the city laid out on the floor as Portland is revisioning downtown. we will walk over this map, quietly asking God for discernment as we pray for the city. From there we will move down to the Skidmore Fountain.

3. Listening together again for direction

Thursday, August 28th 7-10pm
meet at the Koinonia House on the PSU Campus
(corner of SW Broadway and SW Montgomery)
to pray and listen together for direction for the fall/winter season

Finally, there are many prayer opportunities leading up to the Luis Palau Festival if you would like to participate

They are as follows:

BEGINNING JULY 13th

Prayerwalks every day at 1pm, meet at the Gene Autry flagpole on the waterfront
facilitators will direct you in prayer

ONSITE PRAYER

48hrs of intercession
11pm Thursday, Aug 21-11pm Saturday Aug 23
day watch in a tent on the waterfront
nightwatch at Liberation Street Church (we are planning to help man the nightwatch on both Thursday and Friday, contact me if you'd like to join us! or just show up 11pm-7am)

There will also be a prayer tent on site at the festival for those who have prayer needs. Intercessors are needed to sign up for shifts to pray for people as they come in.
